Who we are

This website is operated by MedGuide Group ("MedGuide", "we", "us"). For the personal data described in this policy, MedGuide Group is the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

This policy covers this corporate website only. Our products (MedGuide, MedGuide Translate, MedGuide SEO/GEO) have their own privacy documentation, provided within each product and its service agreement. No patient data and no health data is collected or processed on this website.

What we collect

• Contact form. If you write to us, we process the details you submit: name, organization, country, email address and your message.
• Analytics. Only after you give consent through our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics with Consent Mode to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate region, device type). Without consent, no analytics identifiers are stored.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• Responding to your inquiry: our legitimate interest in answering the message you sent us, and, where the inquiry leads to a contract, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Art. 5).
• Improving the site: your consent for analytics (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)). You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings.

How long we keep it

Contact-form inquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless a longer period is required for an ongoing business relationship or by law. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that make this site work on our behalf: our email and CRM processors (to receive and answer inquiries) and Google Analytics (for consented analytics). These providers act under data-processing agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside your country, including outside the EU/EEA and Türkiye. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the mechanisms provided under KVKK.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and KVKK you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data rectified;
• have your data erased;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK Kurumu; in the EU, your national data protection authority).
