Dr. Mahir Turan, founder and chief executive of MedGuide Group, has been appointed to the International Advisory Board of the American Accreditation Commission International (AACI). The appointment is effective 30 July 2026 for an initial term of four years.
The International Advisory Board provides strategic guidance on the development and continuous improvement of AACI accreditation standards. Members advise on emerging trends and international best practices in healthcare quality, patient safety and healthcare management, and contribute to new standards in response to advances in care, regulatory change and market needs.
The appointment places MedGuide Group's leadership inside the conversation that defines how healthcare quality is measured internationally. It is a conversation the company already participates in through its products, which operate daily inside hospital systems across more than ten countries.
